Rahime Konneh

Executive Director

Rahime Konneh is a detail-oriented project consultant, whose aptitude for empowering Black and Visible minority communities extends over 8 years of relevant proposal development and project management-related work experience.

These experiences have allowed Rahime to work and volunteer on behalf of social development, conflict resolution and project management within local and international organizations such as United Nations Association in Canada (UNA-Canada), Key-Action Network -Hamilton, Atlantic Council for International Cooperation ACIC, NL Independent Living Resource Centre (ILRC-NL), Reachability – NS, Refugee Advisory Council Sierra Leone, West Africa and as the executive director of Community Capacity Building Network (CCBN) and Independent Community Consulting Firm (ICCF) respectively.

His educational background includes a double major in International Development Studies and Political Science, Master’s in Public Policy, Postgraduate Certificate in Disability Case Management and Project Management.

Rahime’s tasks include the following:

  • Work with the client to identify Federal and provincial grant opportunities, and develop a compelling project proposal that attracts funding for the client to ensure the delivery and implementation of social development initiatives to better serve their community.
  • Provide project management services focusing on project implementation strategy. When funding is secured, Rahime continues to provide project management insights and directions focusing on executing project deliverables, financial reporting, surveys, evaluation, data analyses, etc.
